Dr. Harkin and his colleagues analysed 138 studies on goal attainment, and found that if you monitor your progress, you are more likely to attain your goals.



They also found that if your progress is publicly and physically recorded, you’re even more likely to get there.



So take the focus off the end result.



Move it to the journey.



Record the steps forward, and share that progress with others.



You’ll get to the green light before you know it.
