Stress is a stimulus. We need it. Not enough stress, and you’ll be bored.
A good amount of stress makes you productive, motivated, in the flow.
But there is a tipping point in the curve. If you add more stress after that, your productivity goes down.
And not just your productivity. Your sleep, your exercise regime, your mood, your relationships: everything suffers. Not worth it.
You need to know your tipping point. How do you recognize it, so you can stop adding on time?
And as a leader: how do you recognize other’s tipping points?
